Unfortunately, with two Strawberry Alarm Clocks in existence and touring, club owners were reluctant to touch either line-up. Threatened with legal action, Holmes eventually disbanded his version of the group. With seemingly nothing to lose Uni management allowed King and Weitz and the remainder of the band to self-produced this album.
