So I followed the instructions and downloaded SKSE and extracted it into the folder where skyrim vr is. I then installed skuui via vortex and enabled. I then installed vrik, index bindings 2.0, and be seated via vortex and enabled. I went to steam setting and chose the vrik index bindings 2.0 and opened the game via the skse loader.

But it isn't a bad idea, I think most people use different keys for the two mods, for example I use Trigger for VRIK holsters and Grip for HIGGS grab, so it would work wonders. For the ones who have a weird configuration, they just need to adapt (if they really want to use the mod) and/or change the settings via MCM or .ini, like you said.
